Long Pham is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research, communication, and policy development. Currently serving as a Senior Research Coordinator at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics since June 2019, Long Pham has contributed to several European AI projects and focuses on AI governance, education, and ethics. As the Founder and Executive Director of BluePontum from June 2021 to January 2023, Long Pham promoted sustainable outcomes in science, research, and innovation. Previous roles include ASEAN International Development Manager at UCC Academy, where Long Pham established collaborations in the region, and Researcher at the International Energy Research Centre, leading initiatives on energy policy and efficiency. Long Pham’s experience also encompasses significant positions at IBM, managing government communication and media strategies, as well as a diverse reporting and editorial background at Vietnam News. Long Pham holds a PhD in Political Science and Government from University College Cork, alongside several other degrees in journalism, political science, and English literature.
