Nuala McCullagh

Nuala McCullagh is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in both industry and academia. Currently at Meta since December 2017, Nuala has also served as a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science, where notable work includes the development of MakeMyRun.co, a web application for customizing running routes in San Francisco through the integration of diverse geographical data. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Durham University, where Nuala conducted advanced analysis and simulations of astronomical data, implemented machine learning techniques, and collaborated on multiple research projects. Academic credentials include a PhD in Cosmology from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Pennsylvania.
