Peer S.

Peer (Shafeeq) S. is a Senior Advanced Data Scientist at Honeywell since April 2021, and also serves as a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science since May 2020. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Quanterix from January 2019 to March 2020, and as a Research Assistant at Texas A&M University from January 2013 to December 2018, where expertise in image/signal processing, 3D rendering, and machine learning for ultrasound and elastography imaging in orthopedic applications was developed. Peer also held positions as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in ECE Capstone Design, mentoring teams on embedded systems, and as a Research Intern at Schlumberger, focusing on signal processing models and automated tracking of seismic data. Additional internship experience includes an Applications Engineering Intern at Silicon Labs, working on a spectrum analyzer tool for TV tuners. Peer holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
