Céline Castets-Renard

Céline Castets-Renard is a Full Professor at the Law Faculty of the University of Ottawa and holds the title of Canadian Research Chair in International & Comparative AI Law. Currently, they also serve as a Research Chair Holder in AI Law and Governance at ANITI Toulouse, and as Vice Chair of the Working Group on Copyright for the AI Office of the European Commission. Their research focuses on the regulation and governance of digital technologies and artificial intelligence from an international and comparative law perspective, while also addressing human rights, equity, and gender issues in tech laws. Céline has authored over a hundred articles and multiple books on these subjects, and they have been a Visiting Fellow at Yale Law School and a Scholarship recipient at Fulbright France.
