John Dethlefs

John Dethlefs is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in consulting, leadership, and military operations. Currently serving as the Manager of Consulting Services at Insight since October 2021, John oversees the delivery of network consulting and professional services across the Northeastern United States, focusing on multi-vendor route/switch, wireless, security, SD-WAN, ACI, and Cisco ISE. Prior to this role, John was a Leadership and Strategic Planning Consultant at THRALL Inc. and held various leadership positions in the US Army Reserves, including Commander of the 303d MEB and the 209th Digital Liaison Detachment. John's military background includes strategic planning roles with the US Central Command and the Florida National Guard, where responsibilities ranged from operations management to training programs. Academically, John holds a Master's Degree in Military Strategic Studies from The United States Army War College, an MBA in E Commerce from Trident University International, and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the Florida Institute of Technology.
