Tom Koithan

Tom Koithan is an accomplished cybersecurity and compliance professional with extensive experience across various leadership roles. Currently serving as Managing Principal in the Office of the CISO at Insight since June 2021, Tom Koithan supports the Chief Information Security Officer in developing business enablement strategies and leading cross-functional teams. Prior roles include Managing Principal at TervKo Consulting LLC, where Tom Koithan partnered with businesses and non-profits to create governance programs, and Director of Information Security at UnitedHealth Group, focusing on governance programs within the Enterprise Information Security organization. Additional experience spans senior positions at Datalink and Merrill Corporation, encompassing compliance, IT governance, and system administration. Tom Koithan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
