Erin Wetherley, Ph.D. is currently the Director of Research And Development at Insight M, specializing in detecting methane emissions. With previous experience as a Senior Spectroscopic Data Scientist at Accenture, Erin has a background in developing machine learning prototypes and integrating cutting-edge technologies for businesses. Erin's doctoral research at UCSB focused on modeling the energy and water balance of greater Los Angeles using hyperspectral & LiDAR imagery. Additionally, Erin has experience in teaching as a TA and science communication as a Science Radio Broadcaster. Erin's diverse skill set includes GIS management and AI development, showcasing a strong background in research, development, and technical expertise.
