Shirley Riddick

Shirley Riddick is the current GM for APAC at insightsoftware. Shirley has over 10 years of experience in various leadership roles, including Managing Director for Middle East, Africa, & Asia Pacific regions and Head of Global HR. In these positions, Shirley was responsible for making decisions that drove business growth, overseeing multiple departments and projects, and formulating strategic plans.

Shirley is an exceptional communicator with a deep understanding of customer requirements and solution selling. Shirley excels at building relationships with partners and customers and providing them with the best possible experience. Shirley also has a proven track record of successful project management, budgeting, and financial reporting.

In their current role at insightsoftware, Shirley is responsible for leading the APAC region and growing the business. Shirley is also heavily involved in steering the overall strategic direction of the company and communicating the 2030 vision, BHAG, 3-5 year plan, and 1-3 year strategy to the executive team and management team.

In addition to their work in APAC, Shirley is also the Global Head of Human Resources. In this role, they manage the entire HR function from hire to retire, including appointments, dismissals, PIPs, team development, career development, compensation strategy, departmental strategies, salary review cycles & bonuses, disciplinary hearings, learning & development, hiring principles and culture protection, employee engagement, and HCM system design.

Shirley is a natural leader with excellent people management skills. Shirley is known for their ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve success. Shirley is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others and they use their platform to empower those around her.

Shirley Riddick has a certification as an OKR Coach from Results Foundry. Shirley also has a B Comm Honours in Informatics from the University of Johannesburg. Shirley attended high school at St Mary's School Waverly. Shirley is also certified as an Expert in the Outcome Mindset Method and is an OKR Certified Coach.
