Dan Smith

Dan Smith is the President of First Community Mortgage, a full-service residential mortgage lender based in Murfreesboro, TN, which operates in 47 states and funded over $3 billion in home loans in 2024. A mortgage veteran and serial entrepreneur, Smith previously served as President of Mortgage for National Bank of Commerce and co-founded PrivatePlus Mortgage, which was recognized as one of the fastest-growing businesses in the nation. They are also the Managing Member of Insite Managed Solutions and have been involved in various advisory roles, including with the University of Miami. Smith graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Miami in 1989.
