Joyce Yang

Joyce Yang is a Senior Scientist at insitro, focusing on advanced cellular technology since October 2018, previously serving as Scientist II in functional genomics. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Scientist and Scientist at Synthego Corporation from June 2017 to September 2018, specializing in CRISPR genome engineering. Academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biological and Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Human Biology and Translational Medicine from Harvard University, and a B.A. in Molecular Cell Biology with a minor in Music from the University of California, Berkeley. Joyce Yang also contributed as a Graduate Student Researcher at Harvard Medical School from 2009 to 2015 under Professor George Church, and worked as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at Harvard University, engaging in both education and science outreach initiatives.
