Patrick Conrad

Patrick Conrad is a seasoned professional in the fields of machine learning and aerospace engineering, currently serving as Senior Manager and Machine Learning Engineer at insitro since September 2021. Prior experience includes holding the position of Chief Data Scientist at Cherish Health from March 2020 to September 2021, and Senior Software Engineer at SpaceX between October 2015 and March 2020. An academic background features a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Warwick, where research focused on the modeling of numerical solver errors for differential equations, and earlier work at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center as a Co-operative education student, contributing to relative navigation studies for spacecraft formation flight. Patrick acquired a Ph.D. and a Master’s Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, following a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from Cornell University.
