Shira Becker

Shira Becker is a finance professional with extensive experience in both corporate and strategic finance, currently serving as the Director of Corporate and Strategic Finance at insitro since September 2022. Prior to this role, Shira held various positions at BridgeBio from July 2019 to September 2022, including Senior Director of Finance Strategy and Operations, Associate Director, and Senior Associate. Shira began career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a Healthcare Investment Banking Analyst from July 2017 to July 2019, after an internship with the firm in 2016. Shira's early experiences include a research assistantship in neuroscience at Columbia University Medical Center and various academic roles at Columbia University and Barnard College, including participation in a finance-focused program and leadership as an orientation leader. Shira holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Neuroscience and Behavior from Columbia University and Barnard College, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Jewish Studies from The Jewish Theological Seminary.
