Daniel Peng

Daniel Peng is an accomplished biotech and pharmaceutical professional with over 25 years of experience in regulatory affairs and drug product development. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Regulatory Affairs CMC at Insmed Inc., they have held senior roles at several prominent companies including Checkpoint Therapeutics Inc, Merck, and Shire. Daniel has also contributed to academia as an instructor at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center and an assistant professor at the China State Institute of Pharmaceutical Industry. They earned a B.S. in Pharmacy from Xi'an Medical University, a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from West China University of Medical Sciences, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Industrial Pharmacy at the University of Tennessee-Health Science Center.
