David Cipolla

David Cipolla has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. David served as the Chair of the AAPS Editorial Content Committee at the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS), where they have been a member since 1996. David also held leadership roles within the AAPS community, including Chair of the Inhalation and Nasal Community and Chair of the Modified Release Community.

In addition, David Cipolla has experience at Insmed Incorporated as Vice President of Research since 2018. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Preclinical Research and Development at Aradigm Corporation from 2015 to 2018. David had various roles within research and development at Aradigm Corporation from 1996 to 2015.

Furthermore, David Cipolla was involved with the International Pharmaceutical Aerosol Consortium on Regulation & Science (IPAC-RS) as Chair, Vice Chair, and member of the Board of Directors from 2002 to 2008. David started their career at Genentech in 1988, where they held multiple titles within pharmaceutical research and development, including Senior Research Associate.

David Cipolla has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. David also holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis. Additionally, they have a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Pharmacy from the University of Sydney.
