Guy Bushkin is a molecular biologist and microbiologist with extensive expertise in gene editing and strain isolation, particularly focusing on non-model microbes. They have served as Principal Scientist at Ancilia Biosciences, engineering transformation-recalcitrant bacteria for biotherapeutic applications. Currently, they are the Director of Product - SynBio at MNDL Bio and also hold the position of Associate Principal Scientist in Gene Editing and Biologics Research at Insmed Incorporated. Previously, Bushkin completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Whitehead Institute and contributed as a Senior Scientist at the University of Chicago and Evozyne, LLC. They earned a Ph.D. in Microbiology, Molecular, and Cell Biology from Boston University School of Medicine.
