Ian Setliff

Ian Setliff is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in protein design and engineering, currently serving as Assistant Principal Scientist at Insmed Incorporated since September 2021. Prior to this role, Ian held the position of Senior Scientist in Molecular Profiling & Data Science at Regeneron, focusing on antibody discovery and related technologies. Ian's early career included a significant role as a Graduate Research Assistant at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where research encompassed antibodies, viruses, and bioinformatics. Additionally, Ian worked as an Analyst at Deloitte Consulting, specializing in machine learning and technology strategy. Educational credentials include a PhD in Chemical & Physical Biology with a focus on Computational Immunology from Vanderbilt University, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Richmond and study abroad at The University of Edinburgh.
