John Patterson

John Patterson is a seasoned toxicologist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as a Director at Insmed Incorporated since September 2018, where responsibilities include guiding nonclinical safety strategies and overseeing contracted toxicology studies. Prior to Insmed, John held the position of Senior Toxicologist at Envigo, focusing on the technical aspects of general toxicology studies compliant with GLP regulations. At Roche Pharmaceuticals, John progressed from Senior Scientist to Principal Scientist, managing outsourced general toxicity studies and authoring key safety reports. Earlier in his career, at Schering-Plough Research Institute, John contributed to CNS safety pharmacology studies while adhering to GLP standards. John holds a Master of Science in Pharmacology from Jefferson Health, completed in 1999.
