Michael Molony currently serves as the Executive Director of Analytical Development & Quality Control at Insmed Incorporated, leading efforts in support of the Insmed Gene Therapy platform. Previously, Michael held the position of Vice President of Analytical Development and Quality Control at Sangamo Therapeutics, where responsibilities included the development and qualification of analytical methods for cell therapy and gene therapy products. Michael's earlier roles include Director of CMC AD/QC at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical, Director of Analytical Technologies at Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services, and Director of the Quality Control Department at Avid Bioservices. Michael holds a Master of Arts in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Microbiology with an emphasis in Molecular Biology from UC Santa Barbara.
