Thomas Wegmann

Thomas Wegmann is an experienced leader in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Head of DACH at Insmed Incorporated since September 2023. Prior to this role, Thomas held the position of General Manager for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland at SERB Specialty Pharmaceuticals from September 2020 to May 2024. Thomas has extensive international experience, having served as General Manager for Middle East and Africa at both Veriton Pharma Ltd and Special Products Limited, where focus was on building and reorganizing orphan drug and specialty pharmaceuticals businesses. Thomas's career includes significant roles at Novartis, where leadership spanned multiple functions including Primary Care and Specialty Medicines in the Middle East, and at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, where achievements included transforming the organization in Korea into the fastest growing and most profitable entity in the Asia Pacific. Thomas Wegmann holds an MBA in Marketing/International Management from Azusa Pacific University and a Vordiplom in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from the University of Münster.
