Denis Bellavance has over 14 years of experience in the software development industry. In 2006, they began their career as a Programmer Analyst at Groupe Sygif. In 2007, they became a Software Developer Intern at the Communication Security Establishment of Canada. In 2008, they were a Software Developer Intern at Autodesk. In 2009, they were a Software Developer Intern at Adacel. In 2010, they worked as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon.com. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Zillow Group and Head of Engineering at Loftium. Since 2020, they have been the Chief Technology Officer at Inspectify and an Advisor and Chief Technology Officer at Peach Inc., where they founded the lunch delivery service, managed the development team, and oversaw the Operations, Customer Service, and Account Management teams.

Denis Bellavance received their Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, Robotics and AI from Université de Sherbrooke in 2009. In 2020, they participated in the Y Combinator S20 program.
