Duc Nguyen

Duc Nguyen has extensive work experience in various roles. Duc started their career as a Teaching Assistant at The University of Tulsa, where they co-taught Drilling Engineering Lab courses and assisted students in acquiring knowledge and skills in drilling engineering. Duc also worked as a Research Assistant, where they conducted experiments and analyzed wax samples for paraffin deposition. Additionally, they served as a Computer Coordinator for the TUDRP project, managing computer problems and network infrastructure.

Duc then worked as a Drilling Engineer at Bien Dong POC, where they engineered well designs and drilling programs for high pressure high temperature (HPHT) development wells offshore Vietnam. Duc provided technical support during drilling operations and managed stock inventory of long lead items.

Later, Duc joined FPT Software as a Senior Business Analyst, where they utilized their expertise to analyze business requirements and provide solutions.

Currently, Duc is employed at Inspectorio, initially working as a Business Analyst before transitioning to the role of a Product Owner. Duc is currently serving as a Product Manager, overseeing the development and management of various products.

Duc Nguyen earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Tulsa from 2003 to 2007. Duc then pursued a Master of Science in Engineering (M.S.E) in Petroleum Engineering at the same university from 2007 to 2009. Building upon their previous degrees, Duc went on to complete their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Tulsa from 2009 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Duc Nguyen obtained certifications to further enhance their professional qualifications. In October 2017, they obtained the IWCF Drilling Well Control Level 4 (Supervisor) certification from the International Well Control Forum. Previously, in May 2014, they received the Tropical Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (T-BOSIET) certification from OPITO.
