Anna Borgström's work experience includes:

- Worked at the Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine, University of Bern as a Postdoctoral Researcher from July 2016 to May 2022.

- Worked at the Institute of Veterinary Bacteriology, University of Zurich as a Research Scientist from August 2014 to July 2016. Anna Borgström pursued their education in the field of genetics and cell biology. Anna completed their Bachelor's degree in Genetics from the University of Gothenburg in 2006. Following this, they participated in an ERASMUS-Exchange program at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where they focused on cell biology for one year. Anna then returned to the University of Gothenburg to earn their Master's degree in Cell Biology, completing their studies in 2009. Anna proceeded to further their education at the University of Zurich, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Onkologie und Krebsbiologie in 2013.
