Simon Hutter

Research Associate (Technologies & Platforms) at InSphero

Simon Hutter has worked as a Research Associate at InSphero since March 2018, initially focusing on bioproduction and later on technologies and platforms. Before joining InSphero, they completed a Master Thesis Internship at MIMETAS from March 2017 to October 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Scientific Assistant in the molecular toxicology group of Prof. Dr. Laura Suter-Dick at Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz FHNW, where they were involved in RT-qPCR mRNA and microRNA analysis, as well as cell culture and cell-based assays. Simon also did a Bachelor Thesis Internship in the ecotoxicology group of Prof. Dr. Karl Fent at Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz FHNW, where they conducted toxicity studies on Danio rerio eleuthero-embryos and performed RT-qPCR mRNA analysis.

Simon Hutter's education history begins with their enrollment at ETH Zürich in 2008, where they studied pharmaceutical sciences. After completing their studies there in 2014, Simon went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Life Sciences with a focus on Molecular Bioanalysis at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) from 2014 to 2015. Following their undergraduate studies, Simon continued their education at FHNW and obtained a Master's degree in Life Sciences with a specialization in Molecular Technologies from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, Simon has also acquired further skills in Information Technologies, although specific details about the duration and institution are unknown.
