Christopher Clarke

Christopher Clarke is a co-founder and Managing Partner at Inspired Evolution, where they guide the firm’s strategic vision in climate finance while fostering relationships with global investors and stakeholders. With over 30 years of experience in building technology-based companies and energy projects, Clarke has pioneered clean energy initiatives in Africa since 2007 and has successfully funded over 1,500 MW of renewable energy projects. They hold a BSc in Engineering and an MPhil in Environmental Science and Sustainability from the University of Cape Town, as well as private equity qualifications from the Gordon Institute of Business Science. Clarke is actively involved in thought leadership efforts to enhance energy access and work towards net zero emissions across the continent.
