Jon Meeks

Jon Meeks has a diverse work experience in the field of procurement and supply chain management. Jon started their career as an Assistant Engineer at McGee Group, where they were responsible for setting out points, completing material take-offs, and managing procurement. Jon then moved on to become a Procurement Manager at McGee Group, where they managed the procurement of materials and services for projects across the UK.

After that, Jon worked at BOUYGUES UK as a Senior Sub-Contract Buyer, where they managed sub-contract procurement for construction and civils packages. Jon also worked closely with their supply chain to maintain strong relationships and add value engineering to projects.

Jon then joined Willmott Dixon Interiors as a Supply Chain Manager and later became the Head of Supply Chain. In these roles, they led and developed a diverse supply chain, ensuring the business exceeded goals in time, cost, and quality objectives. Jon also worked closely with pre-construction and operations teams to deliver visible commercial advantages.

Jon then joined Mindspace as the Global Commercial & Procurement Lead, responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects globally and maximizing value while ensuring high quality.

Currently, Jon is the Global Head of Procurement at Inspired Education Group. In this role, they strategically lead procurement for capital projects globally and ensures efficient and effective resource deployment. Jon also develops and manages various school-wide contracts and benchmarks externally to align strategies with current market practices.

Jon Meeks obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Construction Management from the University of Westminster, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended Buckinghamshire New University from 2002 to 2005, earning a British National Diploma in Music Technology. Additionally, Jon Meeks obtained certifications such as MCIOB from The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) in 2018 and became a Mental Health First Aider through Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England in the same year.
