Matt Smith

Matt Smith currently serves as the Group Chief Financial Officer for Inspired Education Group since November 2023 and has been a Non Executive Director at Northampton Saints since 2016. Prior to these roles, Matt Smith was the Chief Financial Officer at Selfridges from September 2018 to November 2023, and previously held the same position at Debenhams PLC from 2015 to 2018, and at Mothercare from 2013 to 2015. Matt Smith also served as the Finance Director and Director of Finance at Argos between 2002 and 2013. Before entering the retail sector, Matt Smith worked at KPMG from 1991 to 2002, where the role involved serving as Director of Corporate Finance.
