Simon Powell

Simon Powell is the current CEO at Sequence Limited. Prior to this, they were a Senior Project Manager at Pets at Home from February 2020 to July 2021. There, they worked with the executive leadership team across the Group IT directorate to implement their Service Cloud and Community Cloud solutions. From August 2019 to December 2019, Simon was a Programme Manager at Gamma, where they led the scoping and mobilisation of a 3 year transformation programme with Gamma’s Group Operations directorate. The primary objectives of the programme were centred on operational efficiency, scalability and resilience. Headline deliverables included establishing a robust design & decision framework to define, prioritise, cost & sequence a 3 year programme of transformation projects, with the breadth of scope spanning Target Operating Model, Incident Management, Asset Inventory and Learning & Operational Development. Simon also developed a robust toolkit to support the creation of high quality business cases & ROI forecasts. Before their time at Gamma, Simon was a Senior Project Manager at The University of Salford from July 2018 to August 2019.

Simon Powell studied applied economics at the Plymouth Business School as part of their BSc (Hons) degree. Simon also took A-level mathematics and economics at Hereford VI Form College, and achieved 9 GCSE passes at Kingstone High School. In addition, they hold a certification from the APM in PRINCE2 Practitioner.
