Lassi Kojo

Lassi Kojo has a diverse work experience in the technology field. Lassi is currently the Chief Technology Officer of Awareness Services at Insta, a role they started in January 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Cyber Security Architect and a Development Team Lead at Insta. Lassi also worked as a Cyber Security Specialist at Insta from June 2018 to January 2021.

Before joining Insta, Lassi was the CEO of Lassi Kojo Oy, a software engineering company they founded in September 2017.

Earlier in their career, they worked at JMJping Oy as a Systems Specialist from June 2012 to December 2017. In this role, they were responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining various network monitoring systems, log analytics platforms, and web-based software for heavy industrial machinery usage and health tracking.

Lassi also gained research experience as a Research Intern at CERN in June 2015. Lassi'stask involved detecting and measuring usage of commercial cloud services at the CERN site using NetFlow and DNS query data.

Overall, Lassi's work experience spans various roles in cybersecurity, software engineering, and network monitoring.

Lassi Kojo obtained a Master's Degree in Information Technology from Tampere University of Technology from the years 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they also completed a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the same institution from 2011 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Lassi has obtained two additional certifications: "IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Security QRadar SIEM V7.4.3" from IBM in August 2022, and "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" from Microsoft in May 2022.
