Sky Gidge

Sky Gidge has a diverse range of work experience in the field of video production, editing, and journalism. Starting from 2001 as an intern at Alida Connection, Sky went on to work as a reporting intern at The Enterprise Newspaper in 2008. Following that, in 2015, Sky joined the Shenzhen Daily Newspaper as a Copyeditor, WeChat Editor, and Reporter. During this time, they received recognition for their work and played a crucial role in growing the viewership base and attracting new advertisers. In 2016, Sky worked as the Shenzhen City Editor at That's PRD, where they focused on assigning reporters to cover news developments and performed proofreading and design layout tasks. In 2017, Sky joined Zocus as a Video Creator and Copywriter. Then, as a freelancer from 2018 to 2020, they collaborated with high-profile companies, clients, and celebrities as a Video Editor and promoted 360 camera usage through the production of viral videos. Currently, since 2020, Sky has been working as a Video Director at Insta360, spearheading the conception, shooting, and editing of Instagram videos in alignment with the company's strategic and creative goals.

Sky Gidge earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of New Hampshire, which they attended from 2004 to 2008. Sky also participated in a semester program in International Politics at Regent's University London in 2007. In addition, Sky Gidge obtained a certification in "Introduction to Generative AI" from Google in the year 2023.
