Pete Sonsini

Pete Sonsini is a co-founder and general partner at Laude Ventures, an early-stage investment firm focusing on deeply technical entrepreneurs, since January 2024. Additionally, Pete has served as a venture advisor and general partner at New Enterprise Associates (NEA) since April 2005, leading investments in enterprise software companies such as Databricks and Conviva. Board member roles include positions at Perplexity, Databricks, Instabase, Anyscale, and Matroid, among others. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Director of Strategic Alliances at VMware, where significant sales growth was achieved, and as Director of Product Management at Mirapoint. Pete holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Political Economy of Industrial Societies from the University of California, Berkeley.
