Asif Haque

Asif Haque serves as a Venture Partner at HOF Capital since January 2023 and has held the position of Senior Director of Engineering on Marketplace at Instacart since June 2020. Previously, Asif provided advisory services at Shipday from March 2020 to March 2021 and served as Director of Engineering and Head of Machine Learning at Motive from February 2019 to April 2020, where Asif managed multiple engineering teams across North America and Asia. From May 2014 to February 2019, Asif was a Senior Staff Engineering Manager at Lyft, focusing on marketplace algorithms and autonomous vehicle technologies. Earlier experience includes a role as Senior Scientist at Twitter from April 2012 to May 2014 and as a Software Engineer at Google from May 2011 to April 2012. Asif began a teaching career as a Lecturer at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 2004. Asif holds a PhD in Computer Science with a focus on Machine Learning from Cornell University and a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
