Jed Mitten

Jed Mitten is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in detection and response systems. Currently serving as a Senior Security Engineer II at Instacart since August 2023, Mitten focuses on enhancing detection capabilities. Previously, Mitten worked as a Senior Security Researcher at Devo and Obsidian, where responsibilities included advancing cybersecurity detection and building product functionality. Notable past roles include Staff Threat Indicator Engineer at FireEye, Inc., where detection content management was a primary focus, and Principal Consultant at Mandiant, with expertise in red teaming and vulnerability assessments.
