Patrick Choi

Patrick Choi is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer II at Instacart, leveraging over 8 years of experience in machine learning to address business challenges in technology, including dynamic pricing and customer personalization. Previously, Patrick served as a Senior Statistician at Capital One, where they focused on revenue forecasting and risk management strategies, and as a Senior Applied Scientist at Uber, applying optimization techniques for pricing systems. Patrick has also held an academic position as an Assistant Professor at Università Bocconi, teaching advanced courses in machine learning and causal inference. They are currently pursuing a PhD in Quantitative Marketing at Carnegie Mellon University, where they also earned their BS in Computer Science and are completing an MS in Electrical & Computer Engineering.
