Yinghan Fu

Yinghan Fu is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as Senior Data Scientist II at Instacart, a position held since June 2020. Formerly a Data Scientist at Yelp from March 2017 to May 2020, Yinghan played a pivotal role in developing the live wait time model prototype for Waitlist, achieving a 25% reduction in RMSE compared to legacy models. Prior experience includes a Data Scientist role at Zenefits, contributing to the company's strategic pivot towards paid HR products through the definition and tracking of SaaS metrics. Yinghan's journey began with an Insight Data Science Fellowship, during which a web application was developed to aid recruiters in candidate selection.
