Edward Moncada

Edward Moncada is a co-founder at Instadapp and a marketing strategist. Edward has also been a part of The Zoomie Foundation, Zoomie, Tokensoft Inc, and FTX: Cryptocurrency Derivatives Exchange. Edward was also a board member of the Dash - Digital Cash (Cryptocurrency) from August 2014 to December 2018.

Edward Moncada has been in the cryptocurrency industry since 2014. Edward was first introduced to Dash (formerly Darkcoin) by a team of investors including the single largest Dash holder to date. They saw the potential of anon-centric tokens and worked to have Darkcoin listed on Bitfinex, making it the largest exchange at the time.

In late 2014, Edward proposed to E. Duffield that they redirect some Masternode rewards to fund projects that advanced the Dash ecosystem. Evan loved the idea and they went forward with it, delivering the 2015 white paper "Gov by Blockchain". This created an incredible feedback loop that attracted devs, capitalize numerous Dash startups, and drove the market cap from $15M to $1B+.
