Alexandre Laterre

Alexandre Laterre is the Head of Research at InstaDeep, where they lead a global team of 40 researchers and engineers, focusing on generative AI and reinforcement learning in the context of life sciences and decision-making. Previously, they served as a Research Lead and Research Scientist at InstaDeep, contributing to significant advancements in AI models that have been published in esteemed scientific venues. Alexandre started their career as a Machine Learning Engineer at Riaktr and holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science from The University of Edinburgh and a Master of Engineering from Université catholique de Louvain. They participated in an exchange program at Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne.
