Andy Lau, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Applied Research Scientist at InstaDeep since March 2024. Prior to this role, Andy Lau was a Research Fellow in David Jones’s Lab at University College London from January 2020 to March 2024, where responsibilities included developing machine learning methods for protein structure prediction and leading various group projects, with notable publications in Nature Communications and Science. Earlier experience includes positions as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Doctoral Student in Argyris Politis’s Lab at King's College London, focusing on computational roles and software development for HDX-MS analysis. Andy Lau holds a PhD in Structural Bioinformatics and a BSc in Biochemistry from King's College London.
