Benjamin Evans

Benjamin Evans is a Research Scientist at InstaDeep, where they develop foundation models for biology. They have extensive experience in machine learning, particularly in deep learning and reinforcement learning, and have contributed to academic research as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stellenbosch University. Previously, Benjamin interned at Sinapi Biomedical and S-PLANE Automation, focusing on engineering projects, and also served as a Junior Lecturer, teaching computer systems and programming. They began their professional journey in stock management as a Stock Controller for a business they co-founded at the age of 15.
