Caswin Minto

Caswin Minto has a diverse work experience in various fields. Caswin first worked at Cashae Limited as a Full Stack Developer and Director, where they managed clients and accounts and developed web applications for churches and inventory management systems for hardware companies.

Caswin then joined Confidential as a Cyber Security Engineer, where they audited network security practices, coordinated log analysis, and maintained network security devices.

Caswin also worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) for a brief period.

Prior to that, they worked at eGov Jamaica Limited as a System Administrator II and Databases Administrator/Full Stack Developer. In these roles, they were responsible for monitoring data center systems, reengineering system setups, implementing database servers, and maintaining VMware vSphere infrastructure.

Earlier in their career, Caswin worked as a Computer System Administrator at Pentecostal Gospel Temple and a Graphic Designer/Administrator/Technician/Teacher at PGT CYBER CENTER.

Caswin also had a short stint as a member of the Island Special Constublary Force (ISCF) with the role of Island Special Constable.

Caswin Minto's education history is as follows:

Caswin Minto obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Security and Digital Forensic from the University of East London, graduating in 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) in 2018.

In 2014, Caswin Minto completed a Small Business Management Course at The University of the West Indies. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Data Operation/IT Essentials from Stony Hill HEART Academy in 2010.

Caswin Minto has also gained several certifications from online courses and institutions. These certifications include "Complete Red Hat System Administration Boot Camp - RHCSA 9," "NGINX Fundamentals: High Performance Servers from Scratch," "Advanced Linux System Administration," "SQL Server Administration Part 3," "Digital Forensics and Electronic Evidence," "Elegant Browser Automation with Python and Selenium," "Introduction to SAN and NAS Storage," "JSON Web Token (JWT) with Spring Security And Angular," "VMware vSphere 6.0 Part 1 - Virtualization, ESXi and VMs," "Linux Security and Hardening, The Practical Security Guide," "Veeam Availability Suite v10: Configuration and Management," "HOLN3x: HPE Senergy Administration," and "Managing HPE 3PAR StoreServ."

Furthermore, Caswin Minto has completed the courses "Linux Administration Bootcamp: Go from Beginner to Advanced" offered by Udemy in 2019 and "IT Essential I - IT Essentials PC Hardware and Software Repairs" as well as "IT Essential II - Networking, Communications, and Operating Systems (Linux and Windows)" provided by Cisco in 2010. They have also obtained a certification in Data Operation Level II from Heart Trust National Training Agency in 2009.

Caswin Minto has expressed interest in pursuing the certifications "Go Java Full Stack with Spring Boot and Angular" and "Windows Server 2019 - Go from Zero to Hero" from Udemy but it is unclear whether or not they have obtained these certifications.
