Divanisha Patel

Divanisha Patel's work experience begins with their current role as an AI Research Engineer at InstaDeep Ltd, starting in July 2022.

Prior to this, they worked at Standard Bank Group from February 2016 to June 2022, with two different roles. Divanisha started as a Quants Graduate from February 2016 to September 2017, and then became a Quantitative Analyst from March 2016 to June 2022.

Before joining Standard Bank Group, they had a winter internship at J.P. Morgan in June 2014.

Divanisha Patel began their education in 2007 at Durban Girls' College where they completed their IEB Matric from 2007 to 2009. Divanisha then enrolled at the University of Cape Town and pursued a Bachelor of Business Science (B.BusSc) degree in Actuarial Science from 2011 to 2014. Following their undergraduate studies, Divanisha pursued a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Financial Mathematics at the University of Cape Town, which they completed from 2015 to 2016. Currently, they are furthering their education at the University of the Witwatersrand, where they are working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Artificial Intelligence, which is expected to be completed by 2024.
