Oliver Bent

Oliver Bent has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Starting in 2012, Oliver worked as a Clinical Engineer for Engineering World Health, participating in the Summer Institute program in Tanzania. In 2013, they joined IBM Research - Africa as a Research Scientist, where they worked for nearly 8 years before leaving in 2021. During this time, they focused on their research and scientific contributions. In 2016, Oliver also pursued a DPhil AIMS CDT program at the University of Oxford, specializing in Autonomous Intelligent Machines and Systems. Currently, Oliver is a Senior Software Engineer at InstaDeep Ltd, where they apply their skills and knowledge gained from their previous experiences.

Oliver Bent pursued their education in two different fields of study. Oliver first attended the University of Oxford from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a degree in Electrical and Information Engineering. Following this, they returned to the University of Oxford in 2016 and completed a DPhil AIMS CDT program, specializing in Artificial Intelligence.
