Thomas Pierrot

Thomas Pierrot is a highly experienced research professional currently serving as Staff Research Scientist and Manager at InstaDeep since November 2018, where responsibilities include leading the genomics AI research team and opening and managing the Boston office. Prior roles at InstaDeep involved building and managing teams focused on Reinforcement Learning, Deep Learning, and Bioinformatics in Paris. Earlier experience includes a research internship at ISIR focusing on advanced gradient descent methods in Deep Reinforcement Learning, which earned recognition as the best end-of-study internship. Thomas Pierrot holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Pierre and Marie Curie University, a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Imperial College London, and a Master of Science in Data Science and Applied Mathematics from ISAE-SUPAERO.
