Nate Schmidt

Nate Schmidt is an experienced entrepreneur and board member currently serving on multiple boards including Make Hay, Oaken, Gripp, and Noteworthy AI, while also holding the position of Director of Portfolio Success at High Alpha Innovation. As the founder of InstaGift, an eGift card and eTicketing company, Nate has a background in startup development, having participated in the inaugural Techstars Seattle class in 2010. Previously, Nate worked as the GM Americas East and Managing Director at Techstars, where significant contributions were made to launch the Techstars Alabama EnergyTech Accelerator. With educational credentials that include a BA in Anthropology and a JD from the University of Kansas, Nate has also played crucial roles in innovation and consulting projects, including consulting for the Cloverly startup and developing Birmingham's first startup accelerator at Innovation Depot.
