Andy Mead

Andy Mead has worked in the energy storage industry for 15 years. Andy began their career in 2007 as the Founder of Firefly Hybrid Power, where they developed a multi-award winning product line of mobile energy storage systems for use in the construction, events, broadcast and disaster response sectors. In 2017, they took on the role of Director of Innovation at Tangent.Energy, where they led the engineering design process with oversight of Product, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial & Software design teams. In 2019, they founded MOXI - Energy Storage Enineering Advisory & Consulting. Currently, they are the Head of New Ventures & UK Country Head at Instagrid, where they focus on the development of new products and business models to progress their mission to deliver electric freedom for everyone.

Andy Mead attended Caterham School followed by Arts University Bournemouth.
