Chris Usher

Chris Usher has a wealth of experience in software development and quality assurance. Chris began their career in 2007 as a Case Officer and Local Network Operator for the Insolvency Service. In 2011, they moved to Oyster Bay Systems Limited as a Software Tester, where they were responsible for the day-to-day testing of a Web-based Finance Management application, as well as running a subscription service with other 30+ companies and developing an application to assist with the automated processing and checking of monthly submissions. In 2013, they joined Hitec (Laboratories) Ltd as a Principal QA Lead, Customisations Lead QA, and QA Engineer. In 2016, they became Head of QA and Automation, GRC and QA Automation Manager at Mitratech. Most recently, in 2020, they took on the roles of QA Manager and Quality Assurance Engineer at Receipt Bank, and in 2021 they became a Software Developer In Test at INSTANDA.

Chris Usher obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Swansea University between 2004 and 2007. In 2018, they earned a Certified Jenkins Engineer certification from Jenkins. In 2020, they earned a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft.
