John O'Keefe

John O'Keefe has a diverse work experience. John started their career at the Naval Electronics Laboratory as a work-study from June 1962 to September 1966. John then joined IBM as a Senior Software Engineer in September 1967 and worked there for an impressive 40 years, until January 2007. After leaving IBM, they joined Instantiations in February 2007 as a Principal Smalltalk Architect. John eventually became the Chief Technical Officer in September 2011, a position they currently hold.

John O'Keefe attended San Diego State University from 1962 to 1964 and studied Electrical Engineering. John then transferred to UCLA and completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 1965 to 1967.
