Mariya Morris has a long history of work experience in the veterinary field. Mariya began their career in 2010 as a volunteer at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Mariya then became a Summer Extern at Veterinary Emergency and Referral Group in 2013, followed by a Volunteer Student Representative at Morris Animal Foundation in the same year. In 2015, they held a Temporary Veterinary Technician position at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. In 2016, they were a Relief Veterinarian at Oceanside Animal Clinic and a Resident in Laboratory Animal Medicine at Tri-Insitutional Training Program in Laboratory Animal Medicine and Science. In 2018, they were an Associate Veterinarian and Medical Director at InstaVet Urgent Care and in 2019 they were a Clinical Veterinarian at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Most recently, in 2022, they became a Staff Veterinarian at New York University.
Mariya Morris attended Cornell University from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a BS in Animal Sciences. Mariya then attended Auburn University from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
