Richard Steele

Richard Steele is an experienced technology leader with a diverse background in IT and project management. Currently serving as the Director of IT at InstaVolt since August 2025, Richard is also the Founder and Non-Executive Director of Basemap, and previously held the position of Founder & Chairman at Univarsity, a student-led initiative aimed at enhancing academic achievement through physical activity. Richard's notable prior roles include Chief Technology Officer at The One Touch Switching Company and Megwich Limited, as well as Co-Founder & CTO of Agxio. Richard began his career as a Programmer at ARCO British Limited and progressed through various IT roles, showcasing expertise in technology strategy, system implementation, and innovation throughout multiple organizations. Richard earned a BSc in Computer Information Systems Design from Kingston University, further solidifying a strong foundation in technology and project execution.
