Kenneth Lim

Kenneth Lim has a strong background in data science and software engineering. Kenneth is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Instawork. Before that, they held the role of Data Scientist at GoodBiome from 2018 to present. Kenneth also served as the VP - Data Science at Aktivolabs Pte. Ltd. from 2020 to 2022. Kenneth has experience in academic research as well, having worked as a Data Scientist, Developer, and resident bioinformatician at the Ling Shuo-Chien laboratory in the National University of Singapore from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, Kenneth was a Developer in a collaboration between the Greg Tucker-Kellog laboratory and AI Singapore, where they worked on programming, architecture design, and mentoring tasks from 2017 to 2018. Kenneth began their career as a Bioinformatics Research Intern at the Genome Institute of Singapore, where they developed a system called @MInter for automated text-mining of microbial interactions, published in Oxford Bioinformatics (2016). Kenneth's work experience demonstrates expertise in data analysis, software development, and scientific literature mining.

Kenneth Lim pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computational Biology from 2011 to 2016 at the National University of Singapore.
