Ismail Deif

Ismail Deif is the founder of Deif Consulting, established in July 2010, and currently serves as the Chief Enterprise Architect at instED since February 2021. Prior experience includes roles such as Director of R&D at Knowledge Technologies International from January 1998 to November 2002, Director of Development at Knowledge Technologies from 1998 to 2002, and Director of R&D at DS / ENOVIA from November 2002 to March 2009, where Ismail managed various product development initiatives in knowledge-based engineering. Previous positions also include Principal Software Engineer at Concentra from 1994 to 1997 and Senior Software Engineer at ICAD from 1992 to 1994. Ismail holds multiple degrees including an MS in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, an MA in Economics and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, as well as a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
